Clemson University to Expand Use of AssetWorks' AiM(TM) Offering, Selecting AssetWorks' Fixed Asset Management Module

AssetWorks solution helps Clemson University improve fixed asset tracking and reporting

PITTSBURGH, PENNSYLVANIA--(Marketwire - June 5, 2012) - AssetWorks Inc., a leading provider of fixed asset software solutions, today announced that Clemson University has entered into an agreement to expand their use of AssetWorks' AiM software by deploying the AiM Fixed Asset Management module. The addition of this module augments the university's existing AiM implementation, which already manages operations and maintenance for campus-wide facilities and real estate.

AiM from AssetWorks is a comprehensive Integrated Workplace Management System (IWMS) that enables organizations to efficiently manage the complete facilities and real estate life cycle. With the addition of the fixed asset module, Clemson can easily add new fixed assets, transfer assets among departments, funds or locations, and partially or fully dispose of assets.

"We were particularly impressed with the ability of AssetWorks' AiM software to link component assets to a parent asset," stated Clemson University Associate Comptroller, Steven Crump. "Instead of having to run a report, we are able to view the total cost of the component assets by simply looking at the record for the parent asset."

The user-friendly program also offers Clemson University the ability to track and depreciate a fixed asset inventory based on user-defined asset classes. With over 25 standard financial reports and the flexibility to create additional reports as needed, AssetWorks' AiM Fixed Asset Software module can help Clemson University maintain accurate and compliant asset records.

Founded in 1889, Clemson University is located in Clemson, South Carolina. A top-tier research University, Clemson serves nearly 20,000 students annually and manages over 25,000 fixed assets from acquisition through disposal.
