Cliff Consulting, Inc. Expands Staff to Meet Demands of the New Workplace Reality

Trusted Consulting Partnerships Deliver Critical Projects

OAKLAND, CA--(Marketwire - Apr 26, 2011) - Cliff Consulting, Inc., a local woman-owned consulting firm, finds demand is up for their partnership model of consulting. In the last few years many critical infrastructure projects have been put on hold due to the economy. Operations are lean and mean but the workplace is stretched. Pent-up demand is now surfacing to get technology improvements, business operations and regulatory projects done. With limited resources, organizations are looking for ways to work smarter and leverage what resources they have to address these deferred projects without incurring a huge bill. That's where Cliff Consulting's approach to consulting comes in. They partner with Bay Area executives to help them better utilize their existing staff resources to get critical projects successfully launched, executed and implemented. Cliff Consulting's experienced senior consultants work side by side with internal staff, ensuring that they can maintain these improvements when Cliff Consulting's work is completed.

"We have had an increasing number of project requests and approvals from clients for operational streamlining initiatives and technology upgrades in recent months," commented Robin Nasatir, president of Cliff Consulting, Inc. "We are fortunate to have been able to recruit two senior management consultants to complement our team and expand our ability to help a growing number of clients needing consulting partners."

After a comprehensive search Cliff Consulting, Inc. added Andy Pickar and Chris Murray to its team of senior management consultants. Prior to joining Cliff Consulting, Pickar worked for CGI Group in Fairfax, VA as vp, business engineering and prior to that was a key account director at Oracle Corporation in Redwood Shores, CA. His more than 20 years of experience has spanned both commercial and public sectors with demonstrated success as a project management delivery leader and internal IT executive. Pickar holds an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, and an ScB in Psychology from Brown University.

Chris Murray has more than 20 years of experience leading business operations and executing strategic initiatives. As an executive with Charles Schwab, Murray held various positions managing key operations and improving business processes. He is a graduate of Rockhurst University in Kansas City, Missouri with a BA in Finance and Economics.

"Experience is a critical requirement when we hire, but it's typically not enough. Our clients look to us for project and program leaders who are good collaborators and bring a 'can do' attitude," said Bob Cliff, founder of Cliff Consulting, Inc. "Both Andy and Chris possess that magic combination of experience and style, which is great for both us and our clients. The addition of their talents strengthens our team's ability to meet the growing demands of this emerging need for trusted consulting partnerships."

Given the new workplace reality with leaner staff sizes and limited resources, Cliff Consulting is finding that their partnership model for delivering critical projects is a welcome solution. www.cliffconsulting.net
