Clinical Ink Streamlines Data Analysis via JReview Integration

Clinical Ink Streamlines Data Review, Analysis and Monitoring by Providing Real-Time, Remote Access to eSource Data via the Most Widely Used Data Analytics Platform

WINSTON-SALEM, NC and PHILADELPHIA, PA--(Marketwired - Jun 8, 2015) -  Clinical Ink, the pioneering provider of purpose-built eSource and patient engagement solutions for clinical development, today announced that JReview is now available for direct use with Clinical Ink's SureSource platform. The integration of JReview and SureSource further streamlines clinical development for drug sponsors by providing a fast and easy way to review, graph, report and analyze eSource data remotely and in real-time.

"This integration is the first time eSource data captured directly at the time of a patient visit is available in the most widely used clinical data analytics platform," said Ed Seguine, CEO, Clinical Ink. "JReview's powerful analytics tools can now be applied to data collected in real-time -- literally within minutes of a subject visit. Additionally, this integration opens the possibility of even more broad-based analyses as the full eSource data, not just CRF data, is available to inform risk-based monitoring algorithms and other operational and clinical decisions."

Data captured by sites via SureSource is automatically transformed into SDTM format via the SureSource Data Transformation Engine (DTE). Users will now have direct access to both the CRF and non-CRF data with JReview's intuitive web-enabled interface where select data can be filtered to create graphs, reports and crosstabs. JReview offers comprehensive functionality specifically developed for clinical researchers to more efficiently and effectively review data via ad hoc reports, data visualizations, real-time analysis, AE risk assessments and risk-based monitoring.

"By capturing both CRF and non-CRF data, Clinical Ink's SureSource platform provides a significant additional dimension to the information that can be analyzed in JReview as part of risk-based monitoring analytics," said Eric Herbel, President, Integrated Clinical Systems, Inc., developers of JReview. "This improves risk-based monitoring by providing so much more information, like who entered or changed data and when, to better identify and detect potential risks."
