CLINICARE and The Winnipeg Clinic Win Prestigious Awards

CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwire - Nov. 29, 2007) - CLINICARE's Manitoba-based Customer, The Winnipeg Clinic is the recipient of a major prestigious award and is also a substantial contributing factor to why CLINICARE was awarded a national Healthcare IT award:

- The Canadian Information Productivity Awards (CIPA) '2007 Organizational Transformation' Gold Award

On Wednesday November 14, 2007 at the CIPA awards banquet held at the Westin Harbour Castle Conference Centre in Toronto, The Winnipeg Clinic was awarded the 'Gold Award' for Organizational Transformation. This was a national event with 90 finalists from across Canada with a total of 12 Silver and 12 Gold awards for six different for profit/not for profit categories.

- The Canadian Health Informatics Awards (CHIA) '2007 Healthcare Transformation of the Year' Award

On Thursday November 15, 2007 at the CHIA gala held at the Arcadian Court in Toronto, CLINICARE was awarded the '2007 Healthcare Transformation of the Year' Award for the implementation of the CLINICARE Electronic Medical Records solution at The Winnipeg Clinic. This award was established to recognize a for-profit healthcare ICT company/client team that has successfully implemented a health-IT solution at a healthcare organization within the past twelve months. This award acknowledges successful knowledge transfer, innovation, successful achievement of project objectives, leveraging industry best practices which results in substantial adoption and utilization of a health-IT solution.
