CliniComp, Intl. Names Kelley Malott Vice President of Federal Systems

Respected Healthcare IT Leader to Manage CliniComp, Intl.'s New Washington D.C. Office

SAN DIEGO, CA--(Marketwire - Apr 21, 2011) - CliniComp, Intl., a global provider of clinical documentation systems serving over 110 hospitals in 7 countries, across 3 continents, announced today the appointment of Kelley Malott as vice president of federal systems. Malott brings over a decade of healthcare IT experience spanning the commercial, federal, state and local government sectors. To better serve the rapidly expanding federal market, CliniComp, Intl. opened an office in the Washington D.C. area where Malott will set the strategic direction and manage the company's federal operations.

Prior to CliniComp, Intl., Malott served as the director of business development in the department of homeland security and biodefense at Vangent, Inc. Malott also worked for Microsoft Corporation in the Health Solutions Group (HSG), where she led high level strategy and business development initiatives for Microsoft's Healthcare Consumer and Enterprise solutions and grew HSG's client and partner portfolio to include MHS, Johns Hopkins Health System, New York Presbyterian, and DC RHIO. As inter-agency liaison at Washington Hospital Center in Washington, DC, she worked on the "Federal ER One Project," a national prototype for the next-generation "all risks ready" emergency department. Her background experience also includes counter-bioterrorism training and simulation for clinicians and first-responders, while managing grant programs to aid in emergency response to Mass Casualty Incidents (MCI).
