Clip Interactive Generates $10M in Revenue for Its Station Partners

Advertisers and Users Embrace Interactive Radio

BOULDER, CO--(Marketwired - Sep 30, 2015) - Since last reported, Clip Interactive has generated $10M in new and incremental revenue for its radio group partners. That's a 21 percent month-over-month increase in interactive radio revenue.

"Our monthly active users engage with advertiser content at rates eight times higher than other digital media channels, and advertisers are taking notice. To date, our station partners have booked campaigns with more than 500 advertisers," said Bill Freund, chief revenue officer at Clip Interactive. The revenue success Clip Interactive radio group partners are seeing is coming from a compelling user experience that drives high engagement. The average monthly active user on Clip's interactive radio platform opens a station app 37 times per month. Each month users listen to streaming radio for more than 24 hours. Most notably, listeners utilize their station apps much like Facebook or Twitter, spending more than 6.5 hours per month in the app browsing through station content without playing the stream. Clip Interactive station partners have mobile apps with an all-time retention rate of more than 30 percent, meaning nearly one third of all users who have downloaded apps since August of 2014 continue to use their apps each month.
