Closed Area for Shellfish Harvesting Gaspesie

QUEBEC CITY, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - Oct. 10, 2012) - Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Quebec Region, wants to inform the Gaspesie population that harvesting of shellfish is now forbidden due to toxicity, in accordance with the prohibition order mentioned below, and pursuant to subsection 3(1) of the Management of Contaminated Fisheries Regulations, in the following shellfish area:

Avignon: Miguasha (G-02.1)

From Pointe aux Corbeaux to Pointe Labillois, excluding the waters of Bassin de la Rivière Nouvelle.
