Closed Area for Shellfish Harvesting Lower North Shore


QUEBEC CITY, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - April 4, 2012) - Fisheries and Oceans Canada wants to inform the Lower North Shore population that the harvesting of shellfish is now forbidden due to pollution, in accordance with the prohibition order mentioned below, and pursuant to subsection 3(1) of the Management of Contaminated Fisheries Regulations, in the following shellfish area:

Lower North-Shore:

Baie des Cinq Lieues (N-30.3)

Baie des Cinq Lieues north of a straight line joining the southwest tip of the entrance of the bay to the pointe des Cinq Lieues at the southeast tip of the entrance of the bay.
