Closed Area for Shellfish Harvesting Lower North Shore


QUEBEC CITY, QUEBEC--(Marketwired - Oct. 17, 2014) - Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Quebec, wants to inform the Lower North Shore population that the harvesting of shellfish is now forbidden due to toxicity, in accordance with the prohibition order mentioned below, and pursuant to subsection 3(1) of the Management of Contaminated Fisheries Regulations, in the following shellfish area:

The shores and waters approximatively less than 1 km of the road and the jetties joining the shore to the wharf at the south of île du Grand Rigolet Ouest.
