QUÉBEC CITY, QUÉBEC--(Marketwired - Oct. 7, 2016) - Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Quebec, wants to inform the Upper North Shore population that the harvesting of shellfish is now forbidden due to pollution, in accordance with the prohibition order mentioned below, and pursuant to subsection 3(1) of the Management of Contaminated Fisheries Regulations, in the following shellfish area:

Réserve Pessamit South (Bersimis) (N-05.1.3.1)

From the Fisheries and Oceans marker located east of Betsiamites' point northward to the Fisheries and Oceans marker.
