Closed Areas for Shellfish Harvesting North Shore

QUEBEC CITY, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - Aug. 15, 2008) - Fisheries and Oceans Canada, Quebec Region, wants to inform the North Shore population that the harvesting of shellfish is now forbidden due to toxicity , in accordance with the prohibition order mentioned below, and pursuant to subsection 3(1) of the Management of Contaminated Fisheries Regulations, in the following shellfish areas.

Baie au Saumon

From Pointe Joy to the south-eastern point of Baie au Saumons' entrance.
