ATLANTA, GA--(Marketwired - March 05, 2015) - Cloud Sherpas' advisory group, which helps clients evaluate and plan cloud software deployments, directed projects totaling over $75 million in revenue, an accomplishment reflecting intense demand for cloud technology, but also enterprise clients' desire to have a well-defined business plan for long term adoption of cloud technology.

Gartner says global IT spending is on the rise, and growth in enterprise cloud is pressuring legacy vendors to consolidate and reduce prices. Meanwhile, enterprise cloud spending is outpacing traditional IT spending. Still, buyers have many choices when it comes to enterprise software. And while end-user confidence is increasing, questions about cloud cost, compliance, security and support persist.

It's within this context that Cloud Sherpas advisory group has flourished. The division, bolstered with a $10 million investment last year from corporate, provides a range of services from strategy and platform evaluation to defining future business capabilities and transformation planning. The group contributed to hundreds of projects last year for high-profile enterprise clients.

Cloud Sherpas grew in every facet of its business last year, most notably international business revenue grew nearly 60%. Cloud Sherpas continued to work with the largest companies, with nearly 75% of the firm's revenue coming from enterprise implementations. Financial services, retail, healthcare, real estate and professional services were once again the top verticals for Cloud Sherpas, cumulatively accounting for more than 50% of all new business.
