Cloud Takeoff Named to Top 50 List

Constructech Puts Cincinnati-Area Startup Among Construction Industry Tech Leaders

MASON, OH--(Marketwired - Jul 24, 2014) - Cloud Takeoff, a startup offering powerful, Cloud-based tools for estimating, sharing and collaborating digital blueprints, has been named to the Constructech 50. The annual list recognizes the most influential technology providers targeting the construction industry.

"We work hard every day to improve the lives of construction professionals and it's very gratifying to be recognized in a national publication," said Phillip Ogilby, co-founder and CEO of Cloud Takeoff.

As its name suggests, Constructech is an online and print publication in which construction and technology converge. It describes the Constructech 50 list as "an essential recognition for construction-technology providers that are driving the construction industry forward."

Ogilby founded Cloud Takeoff in 2010 to improve and simplify sharing and working with digital plans in commercial construction. He said Cloud Takeoff's user base has more than doubled over the last year. "Many of our customers are also our most rabid fans, and they have made it known that our solution is having a big impact on their business success."

Launched in late 2010, Cloud Takeoff's solution uses the latest web technologies to make blueprint sharing, collaborating and estimating from digital files, easier than ever before. Cloud Takeoff's web-based software-as-a-service delivers a powerful tool that is surprisingly easy to use. In 2013, Cloud Takeoff began connecting with commercial contractors on the other side of the globe through a collaboration with simPRO Software, an Australian provider of job management software to contractors.
