CloudLock Announced Support for Amazon Inspector to Offer Orchestrated Security Across Amazon Web Services Environments

Integration Enables Security Orchestration Across User Behavior and Data-Related Incidents in Amazon EC2 Environments

WALTHAM, MA--(Marketwired - Apr 19, 2016) - CloudLock®, a leading provider of Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB) and Cybersecurity-as-a-Service solutions, today announced the company is now supporting Amazon Inspector automated security assessment service. The Amazon Inspector integration expands the CloudLock Security Fabric across Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2) environments, enabling cloud security orchestration and management of consolidated incidents or Amazon Inspector findings in one platform. Customers can efficiently investigate user behavior and data related to incidents or exposures, as well as vulnerability insights.

Correlating user and entity behavior analytics across Amazon EC2 environments by integrating with Amazon Inspector, CloudLock surfaces potentially suspicious findings, such as identifying potential weaknesses in security configuration that could result in large data exfiltration from Amazon Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3), or detecting the use of insecure and unencrypted ports or services. Security teams can drill down into activities for detailed information surrounding the incident, down to the specific Amazon EC2 instance. To automate incident detection and reduce false-positive noise, policies can be implemented to trigger incidents and enact response actions based on criteria including severity.

"We are thrilled to extend our collaboration with AWS, a cloud provider that understands the need for security at the user, entity, account and data level that CloudLock provides," said John Amaral, Head of Product Delivery at CloudLock. "We have a great product from which virtually every AWS customer can benefit."

The CloudLock CASB and CloudLock CyberDev Platform combine to secure privileged access to the AWS console with user and entity behavior analytics, configuration security, activity logging, API call monitoring, incident and policy management, and content classification. In addition, CloudLock provides an additional security layer to the apps running on top of AWS, including apps downloaded from AWS Marketplace, and the custom apps customers build on AWS and use internally or sell to customers, with no additional coding required.
