CloudShare Appoints Shinya Akamine to Board of Directors

Former CEO and Co-Founder of Postini Brings Cloud Market Expertise to Self-Service Cloud Platform Company

SAN MATEO, CA--(Marketwire - December 13, 2010) - CloudShare today announced the appointment of Shinya Akamine to its board of directors. As a member of CloudShare's board, Akamine will advise the business in support of its efforts to bring cloud computing performance and economic advantages to mainstream business applications like Microsoft SharePoint® and SAP® ERP, CRM and Business Objects software.

Akamine is an angel investor who has spent his career in high technology in Silicon Valley. Previously he was the co-founder and former chief executive officer of Postini, a secure email SaaS company that was acquired by Google™. Akamine's current investments and board of director positions include AppRats, BlueSpark, CloudShare, Core Security and YOICS. Prior to starting his entrepreneurial career, Shinya was a consultant with McKinsey & Company and a post-doctoral fellow at NTT's Musahino Research Laboratory. Akamine is the inventor of ten patents and was honored in 2004 with an Outstanding Inventor award by Stanford University. He was also recognized by NTT in 1994 for the best research within NTT Worldwide.
