Club House Launches Festive Campaign Featuring Traditional Holiday Recipes With a Twist

LONDON, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - Nov. 28, 2013) - McCormick Canada returns with its Own Holidays campaign for a second year, focusing on "holiday recipes with a twist" on its Club House web site (www.clubhouse.ca), along with two television commercials and a digital campaign.

Categories on the Club House Holiday Home Page include Baking & Desserts, Entrees & Dinners, Appetizers & Side Dishes, and Beverages. An emphasis will be on "baking with a twist" with recipes such as Cappuccino Refrigerator Cookies, Orange Ginger Pudding Cake, and Gluten Free Shortbread Cookies. A twist on traditional holiday entrees and dinners include Grilled Turkey with Gnocchi, Bay Leaf and Honey-Glazed Turkey with Pear and Herbes de Provence Stuffed Leg of Lamb. Appetizers with a twist include Tex Mex Spiced Nuts, Montreal Chicken Cola Wings and Asparagus with Spicy Nutmeg Butter. Beverages with a twist include Brandy Eggnog, Pumpkin Pie Spiced Piña Colada and a Sparkling Refresher.

Visitors to the holiday Club House Page are encouraged to share their favourite "holiday recipes with a twist" to enter into a draw to win a Kitchen-Aid electric mixer along with a variety of Club House baking products. There will also be four weekly email blasts sent to Club House members on topics that include Holiday Parties, Holiday Baking and Holiday Dinners. Digital advertising will be placed on Google, other social media and premium food channels. The Own Holiday digital campaign, and special website, launches November 28.
