ClubCorp Announces New Wine Club Program and Unique Marketing Opportunity for Wineries

SAN FRANCISCO, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- September 18, 2006 -- ClubCorp, the world leader in delivering premier golf, private club, and resort experiences, announced today that it is creating wine clubs within each of its properties -- a unique, new marketing opportunity that will involve a select group of wineries.

The initial wine club launch will include 16 properties with plans for an eventual rollout to approximately 100 clubs located in states where direct wine shipments are legal. Wine club members will enjoy exclusive winemaker dinners, wine-tasting parties, access to highly rated and hard-to-find wines, as well as wine-travel opportunities. A small number of prestigious wine labels will be offered, some in extremely limited quantities.

"We are very excited about this program, and feel that it will provide even greater value to our club members," says Paul Golden, senior vice president for strategic growth. "Nearly 83 percent of ClubCorp's 200,000 affluent member households have purchased wine in the last six weeks and there is great demand for the ultra-premium wines that our members will now be able to conveniently obtain for home consumption."

WSN Systems Corporation, a San Francisco-based technology company focused on the wine industry, has announced that its FORT System will serve as the e-commerce platform and data management for the new wine club program being launched by ClubCorp. Fulfillment for direct-to-consumer orders will be mainly at the 1-800 Flowers' Winetasting Network facility in Napa, or directly from the wineries themselves.

"We are pleased to provide the infrastructure that ClubCorp needs to manage this marketing channel," says Jim McClellan, WSN's Executive Vice President. "This is a powerful trial and awareness vehicle for premium and boutique wineries. Now, these wines introduced at the ClubCorp facilities can be shipped directly to ClubCorp members' homes in a cost-effective and legally compliant manner. It's an ideal way to help members build their wine cellars and become loyal consumers."
