CMG Holdings, Inc. Negotiates Successful Book Publishing With Rodale Press for Its Agency Client John Whyte, M.D., Chief Medical Expert for Discovery Communications

Dr. Whyte is an Agency client of the Company's Subsidiary Creative Management Group, Inc. The book is scheduled for release in August of this year.

The Company plans to complement Rodale Press marketing for Dr. Whyte through its wholly owned subsidiary XA Event Agency for the book tour and AudioEye, utilizing its e-Learning platform and digital technology.

John J. Whyte, M.D., is Chief Medical Expert and Vice President for Continuing Medical Education at Discovery Channel, part of the media conglomerate, Discovery Communications. In this role, Dr. Whyte develops, designs and delivers educational programming that appeals to both a medical and lay audience. This includes television shows, online content, and DVDs.

Prior to Discovery, Dr. Whyte was in the Immediate Office of the Director at the Agency for Healthcare Research Quality. He served as Medical Advisor/Director of the Council on Private Sector Initiatives to Improve the Safety, Security, and Quality of Healthcare. Dr. Whyte was also the Acting Director, Division of Medical Items and Devices in the Coverage and Analysis Group in the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), formerly the Health Care Financing Administration. As Division Director as well as Medical Officer/Senior Advisor, Dr. Whyte was responsible for more national coverage decisions than any other CMS staff.

Dr. Whyte completed his internal medicine residency at Duke University Medical Center as well as earned a Masters of Public Health (MPH) in Health Policy and Management at Harvard University School of Public Health. He has written extensively in the medical and lay press on health policy issues.
