CMOS Media Advisory: Leading Canadian Scientists Call for Urgent Action on Climate Change

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - June 1, 2006) - More than six hundred Canadian scientists at the 40th Annual Congress of the Canadian Meteorological and Oceanographic Society will release a statement today calling for urgent government action on climate change. Climate change is happening now and Canada has no choice but to adapt to present and future climate change.
