CMP 2017 Resource Limited Partnership Raises $28.6 Million on First Closing


TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - Feb. 17, 2017) - Goodman & Company, Investment Counsel Inc. ("GCIC") is pleased to announce that CMP 2017 Resource Limited Partnership (the "Partnership") has completed the first closing of its initial public offering of limited partnership units (the "Units"). The Partnership sold 28,641 Units for gross proceeds of approximately $28.6 million. The Partnership is managed by GCIC.

The Partnership anticipates completing a second and final closing on or about March 10, 2017. Units of the Partnership are being offered in all provinces and territories in Canada at a price of $1,000 per Unit with a minimum subscription of $5,000 (5 Units).

The offering is being made through a syndicate of agents led by Scotiabank and including CIBC, National Bank Financial Inc., RBC Capital Markets, BMO Capital Markets, TD Securities Inc., Industrial Alliance Securities Inc., Echelon Wealth Partners Inc., Canaccord Genuity Corp., Desjardins Securities Inc. and Raymond James Ltd.
