CMTC, NASA, & JPL Co-Sponsor Process Control Seminar for Suppliers

Wednesday, February 21, 2007 at Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, CA

TORRANCE, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- February 16, 2007 -- In response to its suppliers, NASA and JPL have teamed with California Manufacturing Technology Consulting (CMTC) to develop the Process Control and Beyond seminar to provide suppliers with an overview of methods and tools to improve overall company performance. The seminar will be conducted by NASA, JPL, and CMTC Senior Consultant and Six Sigma Black Belt, Terry Weiner.

The Process Control and Beyond Seminar will focus on three areas:

(1) Lean Enterprise Systems,

(2) Quality Management Systems (including internal/external audits, as well as NASA's quality policy in regard to AS9100, ISO9001 and AS9003), and

(3) Quality Assurance methodologies (i.e. Root Cause Analysis, Statistical Process Control, Six Sigma and Mistake Proofing). This information is vital to any organization's continual improvement process.

The seminar is free and open to any NASA and/or JPL supplier; however, reservations are required as space for this seminar is limited. Details are as follows:
