CMWare Appoints Raul Fernandez to Board of Directors

Technology Industry Entrepreneur Recruited to Guide Emerging Place-Shifting Company

PLAINSBORO, NJ -- (MARKET WIRE) -- March 6, 2007 -- CMWare, Inc., a leading provider of PC place-shifting solutions for mobile carriers, today announced the immediate appointment of Raul Fernandez, chairman and CEO of ObjectVideo, the leader in intelligent video, to its board of directors.

Fernandez has more than a decade of executive level experience in developing and leading technology companies. As the founder of Proxicom, he grew the company into a top global provider of e-business services for Fortune 500 companies. In late 2000, he orchestrated its sale to Dimension Data for over $400 million. Since 2001, Fernandez has served as a member of the President's Counsel of Advisors on Science and Technology.

"I have seen much change and growth in the telecommunications industry in the last 10 years and one trend that will continue to grow throughout 2007 is the demand for accessing media any place, any time on multiple devices," said Fernandez. "Mobile carriers and content providers know this and are looking for companies with the right technologies to help them deliver media content to customers. I believe that CMWare's technology will fill not only an industry need, but a consumer one as well."

Drawing from his extensive industry experience, Fernandez will help steer the company as it continues to develop its patent-pending technology. CMWare's myMobileMedia service is the first complete, turn-key PC place-shifting solution for mobile carriers that reliably streams digital media from subscribers' PCs to their mobile devices in any format, including music files, pictures and DRM-protected content.

"Raul has a proven track record of managing fast growing technology companies," said Dale Skran, co-founder and vice president of engineering, CMWare. "Regarded as an innovator and trailblazer, he will bring the right energy and a wealth of knowledge to our board as CMWare revolutionizes the industry."

Fernandez is also known for his philanthropic services. In 1999, he helped launch Venture Philanthropy Partners, a philanthropic venture investment organization striving to improve the lives of children from low-income areas. Fernandez and his wife, Jean-Marie, founded the Fernandez Foundation that supports organizations helping children from the Washington D.C. area by providing healthcare, education and related services.

In addition to the CMWare board, Fernandez also sits on the board of Liz Claiborne.

Fernandez replaces Carter Griffin principal, Updata Partners and joins J. Gerard Aguilar, CTO and president, CMWare; Tim Meyers, general partner, Updata Partners and Dale Skran, CMWare, who currently serve on the CMWare board.
