CMWare Names Jim Ryan President and CEO

Wireless Industry Veteran to Guide Company as It Launches New Services for Easy Access, Sharing and Storage of Digital Content

PRINCETON, NJ--(Marketwire - May 12, 2008) - CMWare, Inc., a company focused on the optimized delivery of rich media to mobile devices, today announced it has named Jim Ryan president and CEO of the company. Ryan is a wireless industry veteran, bringing more than 15 years of senior management experience with leading wireless carriers including Cingular Wireless and Sprint PCS. Under his leadership, the company is now introducing skyTuneZ, a service which gives users an unprecedented means to access, store and share rich media content from their mobile device.

CMWare, in business since 2005, fills the market need for a simple solution around accessing music, photos and videos from your mobile phone. Through skyTuneZ, CMWare is delivering a hosted solution that takes advantage of centralized storage, patent pending optimization technology, a simple web interface and intuitive mobile clients to deliver the best possible mobile media experience. The Company is currently backed primarily through funding support from lead Venture Capital partner, Updata Partners, who committed to an additional round of financing in support of Ryan's entry into the business.

Ryan has held senior leadership roles at a number of industry-leading companies serving the wireless industry. Prior to joining CMWare, he served as vice president of consumer data services for Cingular Wireless, where he helped grow the business from $250M to over $4B in three years. Before Cingular, Ryan was chief executive officer for Teltier Technologies, a leading provider of wireless presence and availability solutions, which he led to a successful merger with Dynamicsoft. Earlier, he gained industry experience as vice president of data services for Sprint PCS, and played a key role in the business development division of O2, British Telecom's former wireless subsidiary. In addition, Ryan also served as chief technology officer for Genie Internet, a global mobile Internet organization.

Ryan joins a seasoned CMWare leadership team that includes J. Gerard Aguliar, CTO, co-founder and board member who founded Voxware; Dale Skran, COO and co-founder who previously served as senior director for access technologies at Sonus Networks; Steve Ott, VP business development who served as VP of global sales for ITXC Corp and Brion Feinberg, VP product management who has worked for more than 28 years defining, developing and marketing software systems for communications networks.

Ryan also serves as chairman of Mobile Campus, a mobile marketing company focused on serving the university student market, and is a board member of Vringo, a video ringtone start-up headquartered in Israel. He earned an M.B.A. from Indiana University and a Bachelor of Arts from Binghamton University.
