CNSC: Revised Notice of Public Hearing-Ref. 2005-H-11

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - Aug. 5, 2005) - The Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission (CNSC) announces a change of date for a two-day public hearing on an application by COGEMA Resources Inc. (COGEMA) to mine uranium at its Sue E site. The Sue E site is situated within the currently licensed McClean Lake Uranium Mine and Mill Operation in Northern Saskatchewan. Hearing Day Two will no longer take place on October 20, 2005 as originally announced. It will now take place on October 19, 2005.

Public hearings follow the agenda published prior to the hearing date.

The public is invited to comment on COGEMA's application either by oral presentation or written submission on Hearing Day Two. Requests to intervene and text of oral presentations or written submissions must be filed with the Secretary of the Commission by September 19, 2005 at the address below.
