VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Dec. 19, 2012) - Minor hockey coach Stefan Greiner recently purchased hooded sweatshirts from University Canada West so that his team would have consistent team apparel for the New Year.
"I have a lot of pride in my place of work - University Canada West - and a lot of pride in my team's performance. These kids are great," he said.
"I saw these newly branded sweatshirts at the university and thought they would be good for the team," he said. The children have team jackets but usually take these off during the warm up portion of their scheduled games. "The whole point was to get more of a team look. We wanted something practical for warm up."
The Vancouver Spirits is a mixed VMHA Peewee A2 team of pre-teens residing in East Vancouver. This is Stefan's second year coaching the Spirits and his fifth year coaching hockey in general.
