Coastal Contacts Nominates Delta Community Living Society for Award

Coastal Contacts Inc. (TSX:COA) today announced that it nominated the team at the Scott Road Connections Center, a division of the Delta Community Living Society for the 2007 Tony Schmand Memorial Award and was pleased to participate in the recent presentation of the award. The Tony Schmand Memorial Award is presented annually to individuals supported by Delta Community Living Society who have achieved significant personal success in one or more of the following: personal achievement; training or education achievement; community involvement; volunteer achievement; or employment achievement.

The Delta Community Living Society is a non-profit community-based organization that provides support to adults with developmental disabilities and their families. Funded primarily by Community Living British Columbia, DCLS is an example of high standards and innovation. DCLS provides active leadership and advocacy for the Community Living movement in B.C., shares best practices with other service organizations, participates in policy dialogue with government and educates the public about the vital needs of the people we support.
