Code Rebel Continues Improvement Push With Latest iRAPP Update

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwired - Nov 16, 2015) - Code Rebel Corp. (NASDAQ: CDRB), an enterprise software development firm that licenses its proprietary software solution to enable simplified secure access and communications between PC and Mac environments on virtually any computer, tablet, or smartphone, today announced that both iRAPP Client for Windows and iRAPP Client for Mac has been re-factored to meet the latest features of iRAPP Server and OS X 10.11 El Capitan. Improvements made to iRAPP Client for Mac v2.8 and Windows v2.8, and iRAPP Server for Mac v2.8 include the addition of:

  • Option that allows server to reduce transparency in remote session. This feature eliminates unwanted graphics artifacts and reduces the traffic, caused by OS X desktop transparency;
  • New heuristic algorithm to detect moving objects and other high-priority desktop areas, a feature that decreases latency in remote session by delivering high-priority desktop areas faster; and
  • Experimental support of file-system redirection to iRAPP Server, a feature that allows the server to mount folders and hard-drivers, located on a client side. This feature is available with Microsoft RDP Clients only. The support of this feature by iRAPP Clients is coming soon.

Code Rebel President Tom Moreno, commented, "We are pleased to support the growing interest from customers with the latest version of iRAPP for OS X version 10.11.1 and will continue to make improvement updates when and where possible to provide maximum benefit to our customers."

Mr. Moreno continued, "It's an exciting time for us with lots of changes being implemented. iRAPP is just one of the major improvements we are undertaking as we make a strong push to improve all areas of the business. As mentioned in our previous announcement, Bruce Huber, our new VP of Product Management, has been brought on board to help not only on the product side, but also to focus efforts on advancing our customer acquisition, client management and retention initiatives. We are all working together to build a great organization and look forward to updating our shareholders of our progress along the way."
