Codenomicon Appoints New CEO and Vice President of Marketing to Drive Worldwide Growth and Brand Awareness for Security Test Tool Leader

CEO David Chartier and Vice President of Marketing Andy Huckridge to Build Upon Solid Foundation of Technology Leadership and Security Innovation

SAN JOSE, CA and OULU, FINLAND--(Marketwire - June 30, 2008) - Codenomicon, Ltd. today announced the appointment of David Chartier as chief executive officer and Andy Huckridge as vice president of marketing.

Chartier brings 20 years of technology industry experience that includes serving as chairman of Maxware, which was subsequently acquired by SAP in 2007. He has also held CEO positions for startup companies that include IntelliSearch and Computas, and has served as chairman of Active ISP. An experienced entrepreneur, Chartier founded InfoStream and led the company through a successful IPO in 1999.

Huckridge brings nearly 15 years of telecommunications and security technology experience to his role as Codenomicon's vice president of marketing. Andy is closely engaged with industry bodies and forums, including the MultiService Forum where he has served as chairperson of the Interoperability Working Group & NGN Certification Committee. He speaks frequently on industry security and telecommunications issues and has written a number of bylined tutorial articles. Before Spirent, Andy was the director of product management for Centile and the director of marketing for 8X8, Inc.
