Coencorp Consultant Corporation Receives Funding From Government of Canada to Commercialize Products in U.S.


BROSSARD, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - Jan. 19, 2012) - The Honourable Denis Lebel, Minister of Transport, Infrastructure and Communities and Minister of the Economic Development Agency of Canada for the Regions of Quebec, announces that Coencorp Consultant Corporation has been granted financial assistance to carve out a place for itself on the American market.

"The Government of Canada supports innovative enterprises that, like Coencorp, are arming themselves with a well-targeted export strategy. If the company is to be successful, it needs to pursue its development; that success helps further the economic growth of Quebec," said Minister Lebel.

A specialist in automated fuel and vehicle fleet management, Coencorp Consultant Corporation manufactures and sells computer applications. The company, whose reputation extends well beyond provincial and national borders, is looking to strengthen its presence in the United States marketplace through the commercialization of FleetZone, an integrated suite of automated fleet management products for medium and large enterprises.

This $230,000 repayable contribution has been granted through Canada Economic Development's Business and Regional Growth, which includes a component aimed at fostering the competitiveness of enterprises by, among other things, increasing their market development capabilities.
