Cogeco Cable Adds a New Channel to its HD Line-Up in Ontario

MONTREAL, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - July 17, 2007) - Cogeco Cable (TSX:CCA) announced the launch of a new High Definition (HD) channel. WGN HD, a US digital specialty channel from Chicago, is now offered in HD to the majority of Cogeco Cable Digital Cable customers in the areas served in Ontario.

WGN HD (channel 293) will be available for free to the majority of Cogeco Digital Cable subscribers who are paying the HD Access Fee of $5.99 per month and who also subscribe to the Movies Package. WGN HD's high definition programming presents varied content with news, sports, comedy, and popular series as well as exclusive Chicago Cubs and White Sox baseball games.
