Cogeco Cable Digital Phone service now offered in Saint-Hyacinthe

MONTREAL, Aug. 30 2005 - Cogeco Cable launched today its Digital
Phone service in Saint-Hyacinthe, Québec, building on the service's popularity
with our customers in Trois-Rivières and Drummondville, Québec, and with those
in Burlington and Oakville, Ontario, since last June's launch.

Cogeco Cable's Saint-Hyacinthe-based HSI and cable television service
subscribers can take advantage of the offer for as little as $39.99 a month.
The monthly rate for customers subscribing solely to Cogeco Cable's HSI
service is $44.99. There are no hidden fees or contracts to sign.

The five key calling features included in the package are: Voice Mail,
Call Display, Call Waiting, Visual Call Waiting and Call Forwarding. The
package also includes Directory Assistance (411), Operator services (0),
Emergency Service (911) and Technical Support (611), as well as a battery to
ensure up to eight (8) hours of operation in the event of a power failure.
