Cogeco Cable Inc. Announces a Change in Leadership at Cogeco Peer 1


MONTRÉAL, QUÉBEC--(Marketwired - Oct. 28, 2015) - Cogeco Cable Inc. (TSX:CCA) ("Cogeco Cable") announces that, effective November 2, 2015, Tony Ciciretto is stepping down as President and Chief Executive Officer of the recently renamed business unit, Cogeco Peer 1. Philippe Jetté, Senior Vice President, Chief Technology and Strategy Officer of Cogeco Inc., is the newly appointed President of Cogeco Peer 1. To ensure a smooth leadership transition, Mr. Ciciretto has agreed to serve in an advisory role at Cogeco Peer 1 until December 31, 2015.

Mr. Jetté has held senior leadership positions at Cogeco since 2011. With more than 25 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, Mr. Jetté combines mastery of complex network engineering, years of strategic planning, and experience in development, marketing and sales with an extensive knowledge of the market. Recently Mr. Jetté played an integral role in the evolution of Cogeco Cable's Enterprise Data Services segment, to create Cogeco Peer 1. "I am convinced that Philippe is well-positioned to take on the role of President of Cogeco Peer 1," said Mr. Audet.

Mr. Jetté's current corporate functions in Technology and Strategy will be taken over by Mr. Audet until further notice.
