Cogeco Cable launches its digital telephone service in Quebec

MONTREAL, June 28 - Cogeco Cable launches its digital
telephone service today in Québec. This launch follows the introduction, on
June 8, of the same service in the Burlington and Oakville areas, in Ontario.

Territories and clientele

Cogeco Cable's High-Speed Internet (HSI) customers in Trois-Rivières,
Trois-Rivières Ouest and Pointe-du-lac can subscribe to this attractive offer
starting today. Service will then be extended progressively to most cities in
Cogeco Cable's territories by December 2006.

A comprehensive and competitive offering

Cogeco Cable's unique digital telephone service package includes
unlimited calling in Canada and the continental United States, five key
calling features, as well as basic operator assistance and information

Cogeco Cable's Québec-based HSI and cable television service subscribers
can take advantage of the offer for as little as $39.99 a month. The monthly
rate for customers subscribing solely to Cogeco Cable's HSI service is $44.99.
There are no additional charges or contracts to sign.

The five key calling features are included in the package: Voice Mail,
Call Display, Call Waiting, Visual Call Waiting and Call Forwarding. The
package also includes Directory Assistance (411), Operator services (0),
Emergency Service (911) and Technical Support (611), as well as a battery to
ensure up to eight (8) hours of operation in the event of a power failure.
