Cogeco Cable's Digital Phone service now available to majority of Burlington, Oakville and Windsor residents

MONTREAL, Sept. 1 2005 - Cogeco Cable announces today that it is
extending its Digital Phone service to all residents of areas already served
in Burlington, Oakville and Windsor.

Initially launched on June 8, the service was previously available only
to Cogeco Cable's High-Speed Internet (HSI) customers. But since it has proven
very popular with its clients, the offer is now available to Burlington,
Oakville and Windsor residents, whether they already subscribe to a Cogeco
Cable service or not.

A comprehensive and competitive offering

Cogeco Cable's unique and all-inclusive Digital Phone service package
includes unlimited calling-securely routed on Cogeco Cable's private network-
in Canada and the continental United States, five key calling features, as
well as basic operator assistance and information services.

Burlington, Oakville and Windsor residents can now take advantage of this
offer for as little as $54.99 per month. The monthly rate for the Digital
Phone service for subscribers to Cogeco Cable's HSI or cable television
service is $49.99. Customers already subscribing to two Cogeco Cable services
other than Digital Phone service will only pay $44.99 a month for Digital
Phone. This represents savings of up to 33% for a similar combination of phone
services offered by the incumbent telephone company in those cities. Plus,
there are no hidden fees or contracts to sign.

The five key calling features are included in the package: Voice Mail,
Call Display, Call Waiting, Visual Call Waiting and Call Forwarding. The
package also includes Directory Assistance (411), Operator services (0),
Emergency Service (911) and Technical Support (611), as well as a battery to
ensure up to eight (8) hours of operation in the event of a power failure.
