Cogeco Cable's Digital Phone service now in Chatham

MONTREAL, Jan. 17 - Today, Cogeco Cable launched its Digital
Phone service in Chatham.

Territories and clientele

Like the residents of regions already served in Ontario and Québec, the
majority of Chatham residents will be able to enjoy this attractive offer,
starting today, whether or not they already subscribe to a Cogeco Cable
service. Currently, 32% of homes passed in the Corporation's territories have
access to Digital Phone service. Service will continue to be rolled out to
most cities in Cogeco Cable's territories by the end of 2006.

Cogeco Cable's unique and all-inclusive Digital Phone service package
includes unlimited calling - routed on Cogeco Cable's private network - in
Canada and continental United States, the five most popular calling features
(Voice Mail, Call Display, Call Waiting, Visual Call Waiting and Call
Forwarding) as well as basic operator assistance and information services.

Chatham residents, along with those of areas already served in Ontario,
can now take advantage of this offer for as little as $54.99 per month.
Subscribers to Cogeco Cable's HSI or cable television service can now benefit
from a highly attractive promotion: $10 off their monthly bill for one year.
They will indeed be able to enjoy Cogeco Cable's Digital Phone service at a
monthly rate of $39.99 for one year. Customers already subscribing to two
Cogeco Cable services other than Digital Phone service will pay only $34.99 a
month for twelve months for Digital Phone service. This represents savings of
up to 50% for a similar combination of phone services offered by the incumbent
telephone company in those cities.
