Cogitore Continues to Intersect High Grade Massive Sulphides at Caribou Project

- 3.6% copper, 10.70% zinc over 1.2 metres

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Feb. 13, 2013) - Cogitore Resources Inc. (the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:WOO) reports finding additional copper and zinc-rich volcanogenic massive sulphides (VMS) on its Caribou Project located 95 kilometres southwest of Matagami, PQ. The drilling area is located 3.4 kilometres west of the past producing zinc and gold-rich Estrades VMS mine and 24 km east of the Casa Berardi Mine. Assay results were received from two holes drilled to identify areas of increased thickness of the mineralized zone, including the extension at depth of the Caribou deposit.

Holes CAR-27 and CAR-28 tested the mineralized horizon respectively to vertical depths of 920 and 456 metres (Figure 1 available at http://media3.marketwire.com/docs/WOO-Photo.pdf). Hole CAR-28 hit high grade but narrow massive sulphides typical of the Caribou horizon explored so far, while CAR-27 intersected at depth the best stringers sulphides on the property to date. Assay results are shown below:

Core angles and bedding in both holes range from 55 to 65 degrees indicating true width is approximately 82-87 % of the core length. The massive sulphides in CAR-28 are banded and hosted within bedded cherty tuffs that are reminiscent of the so-called "key tuffite" unit hosting the massive sulphide deposits of the Matagami mining camp. Hole CAR-27 did not intersect massive sulphides but intersected a 12 metre long zone of stringer and disseminated sulphides which suggests the system still persists at depth. In addition, a borehole PEM survey suggested that it passed close to and to the east of a conductive (presumably sulphide) zone. This conductor will be drill tested by early March, 2013.

Cogitore completed the earning of its interest in the Caribou project during 2012 and, following IAMGOLD's decision to not participate in a joint venture, Cogitore is now the 100% owner of the project.

Work is carried out by the personnel of Cogitore Resources Inc., under the supervision of Gérald Riverin, PhD, P.Geo. He is a qualified person (as defined by National Instrument 43-101) and has more than 32 years of experience in mineral exploration.

The drill core from holes CAR-27 and 28 was logged and marked up for assay at the Company's secure facility in La Sarre, PQ. Drill core for assay was split in half. Half of the core was shipped in sample bags to the ALS Chemex laboratory in Val d'Or, PQ and to Techni-Lab S.G.B. (ACTLABS) in Ste-Germaine-Boulé, PQ, for sample preparation and analysis with appropriate standards, duplicates and replicates used for quality control purposes. The other half of the core is retained for future reference.

Upcoming Events

Management of Cogitore Resources will be present at the 2013 PDAC Convention in Toronto, Ontario. We look forward to meeting you at this event:

March 3-6, 2013 - Investors Exchange - Level 800 Booth # 3013

The Company's strategic focus is on base metal exploration in prospective areas that also feature infrastructure favourable for mining development. Its current focus is in the Abitibi Belt of Quebec and Ontario.
