Cohen and Wolf's Westport Office Collects Food & Raises Awareness for Local Charity

WESTPORT, CT--(Marketwire - March 22, 2010) -  The Westport Office of Cohen and Wolf, P.C. recently completed a collection of non-perishable food items to benefit the Homes With Hope food pantry in Westport, CT. Promoting the drive at its office, on its website, and with flyers and other publicity in the community, Cohen and Wolf was able to collect needed items and raise awareness for a growing problem in the community. The drive was planned and coordinated by Linda Walser, who is a real estate paralegal in Cohen and Wolf's Westport office.

"I am proud that our office has supported successful food drives twice in the past year. People often do not realize that there are many who cannot afford to buy groceries, even in communities like Westport," said Attorney Richard Slavin, Managing Partner of the Westport Office.

Homes With Hope provides a variety of services for those in need, including emergency shelter, permanent supportive housing, community kitchen, food pantry, and employment-readiness training. For more information, visit
