Cohen and Wolf Attorney Ken Bernhard Named Co-Chair of the Connecticut League of Conservation Voters

BRIDGEPORT, CT--(Marketwire - January 13, 2011) - G. Kenneth Bernhard, a principal at Cohen and Wolf, has been named as a Co-Chair of the Connecticut League of Conservation Voters (CTLCV). David Bingham, a retired physician from Salem, will also serve as Co-Chair.

The CTLCV is a bipartisan environmental advocacy group, serving as the political arm of Connecticut's environmental organizations. The group's mission is to reach out to both sides of the political aisle to educate Connecticut legislators and other public officials on matters of environmental significance.

Mr. Bernhard noted that "Our state's environment is one of its most valuable assets and it cannot be overlooked as the new administration deals with the economy. As one of the co-chairs of the League, I am looking forward to meeting with government leaders in making clean water, open space, clean energy and other environmental issues part of the budget and legislative agendas. A healthy, sustainable environment is part and parcel of the quality of life that keeps people, businesses and jobs in Connecticut."

Mr. Bernhard, a principal in the firm's Westport office, practices municipal, business, real estate and family law.
