Colette Grand Cafe Launches July 31st, 2014

Modern French Dining Set to Open in Downtown Toronto's King West Neighbourhood

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - July 30, 2014) - Colette Grand Café, King West's highly anticipated French eatery, is set to open its doors on July 31st, 2014. The downtown Toronto restaurant will invite patrons to enjoy modern French cuisine with a contemporary twist, in a bright and open space that celebrates the essence of French style.

Leading up to the grand opening, Colette deployed two bespoke "bicyclettes" and a food truck to tour the streets of Toronto with an array of samples from the restaurant's menu. A range of edibles - from chocolate croissants to crab vichyssoise - elicited enthusiastic responses from tasters. "We were really excited to introduce offerings from the Colette menu during this campaign," said Steven Salm, President of Chase Hospitality Group (CHG). "We look forward to being a part of King West, one of Toronto's most vibrant communities."

With seating for 150 patrons, Colette Grand Cafe will offer guests a number of different dining experiences within its respective spaces; from its dining room, library, and lounge - to its café and gallery. For those looking for a quick coffee, lighter lunch or early dinner, the bakery counter will be open for dining in or a take out. The outdoor covered terrace gives guests the additional pleasure of being directly in the midst of the vibrant King West ambience. In addition, a weekend brunch will be introduced later on this summer.

The highly anticipated downtown Toronto French restaurant's Grand Opening is slated for July 31st, 2014. Colette Grand Café is located at 550 Wellington Street West, on the main floor of the Thompson Toronto. The bakery will open daily from 7 am - 6 pm, and the dining room will open from 11:30 am on weekdays and 11 am on weekends.
