BRISBANE, CA--(Marketwire - April 27, 2009) - CollabNet, the leader in distributed application lifecycle management (ALM) solutions, today announced that CollabNet SourceForge Enterprise Edition, the predecessor to the recently released CollabNet TeamForge, won a Great Indian Developer Award in the Change and Configuration Management category. The Great Indian Developer Awards, produced by Saltmarch Media, honor trailblazing individuals, technologies, and organizations that are contributing to the evangelism, productivity, and innovation excellence of the Indian developer ecosystem. Winners were selected via a public voting process and finalized by a panel of expert judges. A ceremony was held at the Indian Institute of Science in Bangalore, India on Apr. 25 to honor the award winners.

"CollabNet SourceForge Enterprise Edition (now CollabNet TeamForge) is transforming software development practices by enabling globally distributed software development organizations to collaborate. This accelerates productivity, so projects are delivered up to five times faster and costs are slashed by 10-50% through code reuse," said Bill Portelli, chief executive officer, CollabNet. "Considering the importance of systems integration teams in India that drive innovation for CIOs and project teams all over the planet, it is an honor to be recognized by the Great Indian Developer Award voters and judges."
