College de l'immobilier du Quebec is rewarding excellence

ILE-DES-SOEURS, QUEBEC--(CCNMatthews - Aug. 25, 2005) - Proud of the resounding success of its scholarships for excellence program created in 2003, in conjunction with its tenth anniversary, the College de l'immobilier du Quebec is now launching an Excellence Program. Students from the Real Estate Agent and Real Estate Broker programs, as well as real estate professionals who contribute to the vitality and development of continuing and customized education, will be eligible to attractive rewards:



- 10 Scholarships for Excellence - Real Estate Agent Program
awarded to full-time students who pass their course,
obtain their attestation of college studies and achieve
the best academic results in 2005;

- 2 Scholarships for Excellence - Real Estate Broker Program
reserved to those who will complete the program, obtain their
attestation of college studies and achieve the best academic
results in 2005;

- 2 Citations of Excellence - Continuing Education awarded to
the real estate professional who, in 2005, will have attended
the most seminars from the College, and to the real estate
broker who will have organized the most training sessions in
his office or region;

- Several Recognitions - Continuing and Customized Education
awarded to real estate professionals who will have regularly
attended development activities;

- Honorary Degrees awarded to people who will have brought an
outstanding contribution to the development of the real
estate industry (next generation training and coaching,
contribution to the evolution of the profession, etc.).


These scholarships and citations of excellence will be awarded at a ceremony held in spring 2006. This program, which is the first one to emerge in the Quebec real estate industry, is made possible thanks to the contribution of a dozen of partners. The College de l'immobilier du Quebec warmly thanks Multi-Prets, Royal LePage Real Estate Services, Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton, National Bank of Canada, l'Association de proprietaires de logements (CORPIQ), Genworth Financial Canada, La Capitale Real Estate Network, the Greater Montreal Real Estate Board (GMREB), the Quebec Federation of Real Estate Boards (QFREB), Association des franchises RE/MAX du Quebec, Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC) and Desjardins Card Services.
