College Works Painting Recently Named Among Top Places to Work

IRVINE, CA--(Marketwired - Feb 1, 2016) - College Works Painting (collegeworks.com), which provides practical and life-changing business experience for college students who have shown potential for success, was recently named among the Orange County Register's Top Workplaces.

College Works Painting, a national organization, is among the list of top companies, based on the surveys about the workplace completed by employees. The survey results indicate the company is not only a better place to work, but also is an organization that's more likely to have success than peer organizations, according to the Orange County Register's criteria.

"It's great to be recognized by the publication as a great organization to be affiliated with; the whole point of our efforts is to foster entrepreneurial leadership among some of the top talent in colleges today," says Matt Stewart, entrepreneur and co-CEO of College Works Painting.

College Works Painting is a college internship program and, according to internal surveys, 90 percent of its alumni find college-grad-level jobs within three months of obtaining their degree.

"It's actually an incredibly challenging yet rewarding position for interns, who provide high-quality house painting services for homeowners," Stewart says. "We give students the responsibility of running their own business, and during the summer the internship more closely resembles a full-time job. While some do not make it, committed interns come out the other side much, much more likely to succeed, with marketable skills on their resumes."
