LAKEWOOD, CO--(Marketwire - Aug 4, 2011) - Colorado Goldfields Inc. (OTCQB: CGFIA) (PINKSHEETS: CGFIA) provides this commentary as Part 10 of its "Gold Dynamics in the News" series.

Jim Wyckoff of Kitco Metals Inc., the world authority on metals pricing, reported yesterday, "Comex gold futures prices are trading sharply higher Wednesday morning and soared to yet another new all-time record high of $1,675.90. [ . . . ] Strong safe-haven investor demand, including from central banks, continues to boost the precious metals markets. The world market place has quickly moved to a "risk off" mode, and that's fully bullish for gold."

Claudia Assis and V. Phani Kumar of MarketWatch reported yesterday, "Gold futures continued their rally Wednesday, touching an intraday record and poised to hit a settlement high mark as the metal's safe-haven appeal pulled in investors spooked by a decline for equities worldwide."

As part of Kitco's Daily Gold Brief, Alix Steel, Senior Multimedia Reporter, interviewed William Rhind, Head of US Operations for ETF Securities LLC. The complete interview, titled "Why Gold is Skyrocketing to $1,700" may be found at:

Why Gold is Skyrocketing to $1,700

An excerpt from the interview follows:

Steel: So when will we hit $1,700 then? That's the million dollar question. Are we going to see some kind of pull back or correction before we hit that level, or will that be a "blow off top?" We get there and then we have a correction.

Rhind: What we've seen in the past is that when gold has made a new all time high we've seen some liquidation... we haven't seen that right now, so maybe there's a change in the overall mindset for all investors whereby now, because of the publicity of the debt ceiling conversations has entered into the psyche of the average investor [. . .] The market seems poised for higher gold prices.
