Comcast Media Center's Radiance Division Enhances Industry-Leading Ad Distribution Platform, AdDelivery

Enhancements Further Distance AdDelivery From Competitive Offerings, While New Workflow Efficiencies Simplify Spot Handling

DENVER, CO--(Marketwire - May 24, 2010) -  Comcast Media Center's Radiance division, a leading provider of digital delivery systems for large, high-value digital assets, announced today a new version of AdDelivery™, a leading software-based solution providing advertisers, agencies and post-production houses an automated process for cost-effective, error-free and secure delivery of HD and SD advertising. With today's announcement, CMC/Radiance continues to deliver new features, functionality and performance, distinguishing AdDelivery as a leading platform for digital distribution, ingest and management of media content.

New functionality in AdDelivery 1.0.4 includes:

  • Site-Specific Copy Instructions - Individual copy instructions to each user at a media destination allow for more direct communication and less room for error.

  • Simplified Spot Ingest - MPEG profiles designed by Telestream for AdManager and TrafficManager plug-ins allow for optimal workflows. Additionally, AdDelivery 1.0.4 provides HD support for stereo and 5.1 audio.

  • Multi-web Courier Upgrade - Streamlines existing workflows through a CNE upgrade, allowing users to automatically push spots onto QC servers or integrate into an existing workflow.

With the latest set of enhancements, AdDelivery is the first electronic distribution network to provide customizations all the way down to the station level. From broadcast-quality formats to bit rate mapping and audio channel mapping, AdDelivery makes ready-to-air content a reality through its destination-specific profile capabilities.
