Comite des Loisirs de Lac-des-Ecorces Receives Funding from Government of Canada to Improve a Sports Infrastructure, Unveiled Today

LAC-DES-ÉCORCES, QUEBEC--(Marketwired - Jan. 18, 2014) - Canada Economic Development

The Honourable Denis Lebel, Minister of Infrastructure, Communities and Intergovernmental Affairs and Minister of the Economic Development Agency of Canada for the Regions of Quebec, announces that the Comité des Loisirs de Lac-des-Écorces has been granted financial assistance to modernize one of its sports facilities.

This assistance, granted in the form of a $226,000 non-repayable financial contribution, has been awarded through Canada Economic Development's Quebec Economic Development Program.

  • The project involved installing a dome over the municipal skating rink, paving the playing surface and carrying out various electrical work. These improvements will give users from Lac-des-Écorces and surrounding areas more time to enjoy their sports facility.
