Commercial, Residential Properties in NC and VA to Sell in Dec. 15 Auction

GREENSBORO, NC--(Marketwire - Nov 29, 2011) - A supermarket, an office/mini warehouse, and prime subdivision home sites will be among the bank-owned commercial and residential properties selling at auction Thursday, Dec. 15, with Woltz & Associates managing the event.

"This is a substantial and diverse group of properties, with very low listed minimum bids, so investors will have opportunities for some excellent prices," said Jim Woltz, president of the auction company. "For example, a supermarket in Graham, N.C. that was valued at more than $858,000 will have a minimum bid of $299,000." The supermarket is located at 602 W. Elm Street, Graham.

Another featured property will be a 5.82-acre industrial/office complex in Danville, Va. The property has two main buildings with 22,000 square feet of warehouse space and 1,875 square feet of office space. "This property is just off the U.S. 29/Danville Expressway and is zoned for light economic development," said Woltz.

Also included are more than 35 home sites in the prime Chandler Pointe and Chandler Point South subdivisions in Winston-Salem, N.C.

Other properties include:

  • More than 60 acres adjoining Chandler Pointe and Chandler Point South subdivisions in Winston-Salem, N.C.
  • 19 townhome lots in West Hill Subdivision, Graham, N.C.
  • Single family home sites in Greensboro, Burlington and Browns Summit, N.C.
  • A prime 4.99-acre industrial site in Burlington.

The event will begin at 6 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 15, at the Clarion Hotel Greensboro Airport, 415 Swing Road, Greensboro, N.C. All improved properties will be open for inspections on Dec. 4, 11, 14 and 15. Inspection hours, as well as additional information and photos, are available at or by calling 800-551-3588.
