Commission of Inquiry into the Investigation of the Bombing of Air India Flight 182: Media Advisory

OTTAWA, ONTARIO--(CCNMatthews - March 2, 2007) - Public hearings of the Commission of Inquiry into the Investigation of the Bombing of Air India Flight 182 will resume on March 5, 2007.

The Commission will hear evidence related to the birth of CSIS, early relations between CSIS and the RCMP, and terrorism as it was understood in the pre-1985 period. This will provide important context for evidence that will be introduced at a later date.

A list of witnesses will be posted on the Commission's website on March 2, 2007.
