CommPartners Connect Announces Enhancements to Its Wholesale IP Communications Reseller Program for Service Providers, VARs, Integrators

Carrier Provides Leading Independent, Wholesale "Private Label" Solutions Featuring Hosted PBX, SIP Trunking, Hosted Call Center and Other IP Services for Business

LAS VEGAS, NV--(Marketwire - February 23, 2010) -  CommPartners Connect, a nationwide IP-based network operator and wholesale solutions provider for business, today announced enhancements to its "private label" reseller program for Service Providers, VARs and System Integrators providing communications solutions to the SMB/E market. The enhanced program features the addition of a "National Account" program, the establishment of an "Elite" level in its Partner Success Program (adding deeper discounts and co-op advertising benefits), an expanded list of inter-operable and certified devices for use on the carrier's network, distribution alliances for pre-provisioning CPE along with other enhancements.

CommPartners Connect has also announced a transition program with incentives for IP communications service providers who seek an alternative to their current wholesale services vendor.

CommPartners Connect delivers reliable, high quality, and competitively-priced carrier and wholesale hosted IP services for business customers including Hosted PBX, SIP Trunking, Hosted Call Center, Call Recording and other enhanced IP communications services. The company does not sell directly to end user customers, selling only on a wholesale "private label" basis through its wholesale Partners.

A wholesale partnership with CommPartners Connect positions service providers and VARs to take advantage of the strong trend being seen in the sale and deployment of hosted IP communications services for business customers, said Peterson. According to Scottsdale, Arizona-based research firm In-Stat, VoIP penetration among US businesses will increase rapidly over the next few years, reaching 79 percent by 2013, compared with 42 percent today. This penetration reflects companies having a VoIP solution deployed in at least one location. Peterson said that CommPartners Connect experienced a 45 percent year-over-year increase in its hosted services in 2009 compared to 2008. 

Peterson cited the company's creation of a National Account Program, featuring discount pricing and other benefits to wholesale Partners who have secured service provider relationships with large, multi-location companies as one of the valuable elements of its wholesale program. The company has several National Accounts in service today. The company's Partner Success Program, which also offers various incentives for its most productive wholesale Partners, has been expanded to include an "Elite" level featuring deeper discounts and co-op marketing opportunities.

CommPartners Connect has completed interoperability testing and Partners have successfully deployed multiple device types at customer locations including gear manufactured by Polycom, Cisco, Adtran, Vertical, Asterisk, Grandstream, Astra, Toshiba and others. The carrier has also developed alliances with distribution companies that can provide its reseller Partners with equipment configuration and provisioning services specific to the CommPartners Connect network.

Peterson said the company has already managed successful transitions of services from other platforms with several of its wholesale customers who opted for the CommPartners Connect wholesale program and comprehensive IP communications services offering. He said CommPartners Connect has a transition program with various incentives and discounts for service providers interested in migrating their customer base to the carrier's network and applications platform.

CommPartners Connect, which has major switching facilities in New York, Atlanta, Chicago and Las Vegas, utilizes Sonus and Lucent Telica switches and the Broadworks IP applications platform for many of its services. The company terminated over four billion voice minutes on its network in 2009 and has over 25,000 hosted elements in service.
