Pronto! is built with Adobe® Flex® 3, and deployed in the browser with the Adobe Flash® Player and to the desktop with Adobe® AIR™. Pronto! 2.2 provides network operators with a client framework to deliver VAS (Value Added Services) for Rich Media Communications and advanced collaboration for Unified Communications in the Software as a Service (SaaS) model.

The CommuniGate Pro Unified Communications platform is a multi-tenant hosting solution for Network Operators providing Unified Communication in the SaaS model. CommuniGate Pronto! is a web 2.0 client that unifies all forms of communications together with a framework that allows expansion or new applications to snap into the server or UI as modules. The new features within Pronto! 2.2 allow carriers to build modular services e.g. delivering VideoMail, IPTV or Video on Demand (VOD) to subscribers while offering full featured Mobile Unified Communications to the SME market. New features include:

--  VideoMail
    Users can record video within the compose window and send a unique URL to
    share the video with colleagues or friends
--  Advanced Collaboration
    For effective business communications calendar data can be imported as .ics
    and .ical. Attachments can be easily managed with a mouse right click. For
    contacts management vCards can be imported with only one click. Free / Busy
    information can be viewed while composing a calendar event, and meetings
    can be proposed to the user based on open time slots.
--  Advanced voice communications
    Within Pronto! VoIP calls be started and received, Pronto! searches
    automatically the address book to display the name and photo of incoming
    callers. Pronto! 2.2 now also supports Firefox on the PC and Safari &
    Firefox Browsers on the Mac for voice communications.
--  MyStuff "News"
    Via a secure link private folders and/or files can be shared with other
    users. Play lists can be created and are stored automatically on the
    server.
--  MyStuff "Music" For the Pronto! on AIR version music or data files can
    be stored locally and the user decides which playlists should be uploaded
    to the server.
