Comparison Ventures, Inc., Parent of SingleFeed, Closes Series A Funding, Announces Board of Directors

PALO ALTO, CA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- April 5, 2007 -- Comparison Ventures, Inc., parent of SingleFeed (www.singlefeed.com), today announced the closing of a Series A funding round led by True Ventures (www.trueventures.com) with NetService Ventures (www.netserviceventures.com) participating. The company will use the capital to grow the business into the leading self-service data feed submission, data feed management, and data feed optimization application for small- and medium-sized online merchants.

SingleFeed will now accelerate its product development cycle, rolling out additional features and enhancements to help merchants succeed on the shopping comparison engines.

"SingleFeed has proven that there is a better way for small- and medium-sized merchants to submit their products to shopping comparison and shopping search engines like Google Base, Yahoo! Shopping, Shopping.com (owned by eBay), Shopzilla (owned by E.W. Scripps), NexTag, and PriceGrabber," said Brian Smith, co-founder, SingleFeed. "With the backing of True and NetService Ventures, SingleFeed will establish itself as the preferred self-service solution for data feed management and data feed optimization."

"We love that SingleFeed came out of Brian's work as the thought leader in the shopping comparison engine industry," said Jon Callaghan, managing partner, True Ventures. "Brian listened to the readers of ComparisonEngines (www.comparisonengines.com) -- both merchants and shopping comparison engines -- and created a solution that helps small- and medium-sized online retailers achieve success while helping the shopping engines gain high-quality data feeds."

"Brian Smith and SingleFeed co-founder Jeremy Horn have launched an impressive beta product with a sound business model," said Ethan Stock, partner, NetService Ventures and founder, Zvents. Almost every merchant who works with multiple shopping comparison engines is looking for an easier way. SingleFeed not only provides this service, but the company is also pioneering data feed optimization (DFO) tactics to enable merchants to more effectively market through the shopping comparison engines."

Comparison Ventures, Inc. also announced today that it has added Jon Callaghan, managing partner, True Ventures, and Craig Sherman, CEO, Gaia Online, to its Board of Directors.
